Shortbio:
Dr. André Ludwig is a senior research fellow at the Information Systems Institute of the University of Leipzig, Germany. He has studied at the University of Leipzig, NTNU Trondheim, Curtin University Perth, and Swinburne University Melbourne and received a Doctorate and a Diploma degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Leipzig in 2008 and 2004, respectively.
Since 2004, André worked in several research projects such as Adaptive Services Grid (funded by the European Commission), Logistics Service Bus, InterLogGrid, and PESOA (all funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research). He developed an approach for management of Service Level Agreements in Composite Services (COSMA) which was published at major international conferences, i.e. ICSOC, BIS, WI. As a research visitor, André regularly works with SAP Research Australia and Swinburne University, Melbourne. From 2009 to 2012, André led the “Logistics Services Engineering and Management” research group at the University of Leipzig. Since April 2012, André is a junior professor of the chair of logistics information systems at the Universoty of Leipzig.
