The CRM lab of the Institute for Commercial Information Technology of the University of Leipzig shows concepts for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and their support through application systems.
A special focus is put on the following three fields:
- CRM in enterprise networks
- Tasks and function of CRM in corporate business processes
The maturity level of commercial and Open-Source CRM application systems in corporate business processes
In addition to the study of research questions and the realization of different demo scenarios the CRM lab enables students the possibility of learning the handling of CRM Systems practically. For this purpose the different application systems and scenarios are used in courses, students can collaborate in current projects of the CRM Labor and there are consistently Workshops for each CRM System.
The CRM lab developed out of a research work of the Institute and the objective is besides support of research and science, the assistance of regional business in questions of CRM.
The CRM lab is supported through systems and use cases by various international partners.
